What is a Nebulizer treatment and how does it work?

A Nebulizer is a medical device used to treat respiratory related conditions, such as asthma, bronchitis or allergies that can restrict nasal or bronchial passages resulting in coughing and difficulty breathing. A mask is placed on your face that covers your nose and mouth and has a small “reservoir/cup” that holds the solutions prescribed for your treatment. Once attached to a small machine, the solution forms a mist that is inhaled through he mask for direct delivery into the sinuses and upper respiratory tract. People relax and breath normally during their treatment.
